Ooho is an edible packaging created by an English start-up called Skipping Rocks Lab. It’s objective is to reduce the use of plastic, particularly of plastic bottles which are responsible for a massive amount of the oceans’ pollution.

Plastics and pollution facts
According to a study by Greenpeace, 245 million tonnes of plastics are used each year. Only 14% of plastic packaging is recycled.
Also, 85% of plastic bottles bypass recycling entirely and end up polluting our streets, our beaches, and oceans, and contributing to the disappearance of marine species.
Finally, plastics have an impact on human health due to their use of harmful components, which for the most part, are endocrine disruptors.
