Jean Éthier

Jean Éthier graduated with a degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Montréal and earned an MBA from HEC Montréal. He has worked in the computer industry and founded a company specializing in operational research in 1986.

In 1990, he became the Managing Director of IMS, which specializes in bar code labelling systems. He worked for this company from 1990 to 2007, the year in which he acquired it and became its President. Jean Éthier is a member of a various professional associations, including CTAC, CPAC, and TLMI. He also serves on the Business Leaders of Quebec’s Board of Directors.
